Registration Help

This page is designed to assist you if you are having trouble confirming your registration. If you have recently registered, or updated your registration and changed your email address, after you submit your changes you will see a screen similar one of the following two images.

You should recieve, within a few minutes to half an hour (depending on internet traffic) an email that -- if you have selected to receive HTML-based emails -- looks something like the following.

If you are using HTML based emails, or your email reader converts the URL to a link for you, try to click on it. If that is successful, a new browser window should pop up with the following message.

If you are not using HTML emails, or that first step didn't work, highlight the entire link as shown below.

Now you want to copy that text. If you are using a PC, you can press CNTRL-C. On a mac, I believe it is Option-C. Manually open a browser window. Find the address bar, and highlight any text currently in it (if any). Now paste the copied text over the highlighted text. On a PC, press CNTRL-V. On a mac, I think it's Option-V. If you are using MSIE, you will now see something like the following.

With the blinking cursor still in the address bar, press enter. You should now get the sucess screen shown above. If you do not, please make sure that you have copied the entire URL into the address bar, and if all else fails, email singles@ucg.org for additional assistance.
