UPDATE:
The June 1st deadline to register and pay the $100 deposit for the Kansas City
July 4th singles weekend is fast approaching. As of April 11th, we have 30 of
the 40 guests we need registered for the event with 20 women and only 10 men
signed up. We would like to balance the group out a little more so we are looking
for more men to attend. However, the final 10 spots will go to the next 10 singles
who register and pay their deposit. Some have registered without paying so they
can be bumped off the list by any new guests who pay before they do.
We have added a new activity for those arriving early on Friday. A free factory
tour of the KC Harley Davidson Plant is planned for around 1pm on Friday. We
encourage all those who can arrive early for this activity to please do so.

The Kansas City Missouri congregation is hosting an exciting singles event over the July 4th holiday weekend! Join us in the Show-Me states beautiful "City of Fountains" for an event that will be bursting with fantastic fireworks, fabulous food, friendly fellowship, interactive seminars and many fun-filled festivities!
Singles will be treated as VIP's as they celebrate the holiday in first class style riding around in the world’s biggest SUV limousine! Touring the city in the 44-passenger luxury limo will be one of the most unforgettable highlights of the weekend! This incredible monster limo is loaded with karaoke, dvd player, X-Box 360, laser lights, neon's, strobes, fiber optics, 12 flat screen TV's, leather interior, and 3 15" subwoofers backed by 2000 watts of power!
Other activities for the event will include a Friday night pizza dinner, interactive seminars, a rose ceremony, Saturday night dinner at a Brazilian Grill, awesome fireworks displays, Sunday BBQ picnic with volleyball and other picnic games, and a field trip to Historic Fort Osage. This event will be limited to 40 singles (20 men and 20 women) The registration fee will be $125 and includes all meals except the Saturday lunch and dessert. A $100 non-refundable deposit is due by June 1st. The remaining $25 balance will be due on arrival. Hotel accommodations will be at the Courtyard at the Marriot Hotel near the KC airport. Room rates will be $69 per night and includes a full hot gourmet breakfast.
